A group of elected commissioners meets monthly to review business items that will be discussed at the Utility Commission public meeting. The Mayor of Fort Valley, Honorable John Stumbo, is an ex-officio member of the Commission with rights and powers of the other members as provided by the law. On occasions, the group convenes for called meetings to discuss various issues.
